ABOUT WELL & TRULY BALANCED

A gentle, personal approach to feeling more like you.

Well & Truly Balanced was created from a simple belief: sometimes we don’t need someone to tell us what we should be feeling. We need a safe space to understand what we actually feel — and some gentle support to help us move forward.

Finding your own sense of balance.

Life has a habit of pulling us in different directions.

We can spend years being everything to everyone — parent, partner, colleague, daughter, friend, organiser, problem-solver — while gradually becoming disconnected from how we are actually feeling.

At other times, one particular experience can knock us off balance. A loss. A relationship. Anxiety. A difficult memory. Children growing up. Moving somewhere new. Work becoming too much.

And sometimes there isn’t one obvious reason at all.

Well & Truly Balanced is about creating space to stop, listen to what is going on underneath the surface, and gently work towards feeling calmer, clearer and more connected with yourself.

HOW I WORK

There is no one-size-fits-all version of you.

I don’t believe there should be a one-size-fits-all approach to emotional wellbeing either.

My work centres around EFT Tapping and is supported by my counselling training and wider experience of holistic wellbeing.

Rather than beginning with a label, I prefer to begin with you.

What is happening? How does it make you feel? What would you like to be different?

From there, we can explore the thoughts, emotions, experiences and patterns that may be contributing to how you feel today.

You don’t have to arrive knowing exactly what’s wrong. Sometimes knowing that something needs to change is enough of a place to begin.

What you can expect from me.

1

Warmth

A friendly, human relationship where you can be yourself.

2

No Judgement

Whatever has brought you here, you won’t be judged for how you feel.

3

Your Pace

We work at a pace that feels manageable for you. You remain in control of what you choose to explore.

4

Curiosity

Sometimes what appears to be the problem is only part of the story. Together, we can gently explore what may sit underneath it.

5

A Holistic View

I’m interested in you as a whole person rather than simply a collection of symptoms.

6

Practical Support

EFT is something you can learn to use yourself, giving you a practical technique to take beyond our sessions.

More than one path to wellbeing.

Although EFT is at the heart of my work, my interest in emotional and holistic wellbeing has led me to train in counselling, Australian Bush Flower Essences, Systematic Kinesiology and Bach Flower Remedies.

Where appropriate, I may suggest complementary approaches such as Australian Bush Flower Essences alongside our EFT work.

There is never any pressure to incorporate anything that doesn’t feel right for you.

A safe space, wherever you are.

Sessions take place online, allowing us to work together from different parts of the world.

For some people, being able to have a session from their own familiar surroundings can actually make the experience feel more comfortable.

All you need is somewhere private where you feel able to talk freely and an internet connection.

WORKING TOGETHER

Support from wherever you happen to be.

All sessions are available online, which means we can work together wherever you live.

Let’s Talk

We begin with an initial consultation. This gives you the opportunity to tell me a little about what has brought you here, ask questions and decide whether working together feels right for you.

Your Personal Approach

There is no standard programme that everyone follows. We’ll talk about what you would like support with and agree an approach based around you.

Online EFT Sessions

We meet privately online. I’ll guide you through the tapping process while we gently explore the thoughts, feelings or experiences you would like to work with.

Something You Can Take With You

One of the things I love about EFT is that it doesn’t have to remain inside our sessions. As you become comfortable with tapping, you can use the technique yourself when you need it.
QUESTIONS ABOUT EFT

A few things you might be wondering…

Do I need to have tried EFT before?

Not at all. Most people don’t need any previous experience of tapping. I’ll explain the process and guide you through it at a pace that feels comfortable.

Do I have to talk about everything that has happened to me?

No. EFT can often be used without going into every detail of an experience. We can work gently and you remain in control of what you choose to discuss.

How many sessions will I need?

There isn’t a set number because everyone comes with different experiences and goals. We’ll discuss what you would like to work on during your initial consultation and I can suggest an appropriate way forward.

Can we work together if I live outside the UK?

Yes. Sessions are online, so I can work with clients in different countries, subject to any applicable professional or regulatory requirements.

Is EFT a replacement for medical treatment or psychotherapy?

No. EFT should not be used as a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or appropriate mental-health care. If you are receiving treatment, I encourage you to continue following the advice of your healthcare professional.

Perhaps it’s time to make a little space for you.

If something in these pages feels familiar, we can start with a conversation.

Tell me a little about what has brought you here, and together we can explore whether my approach feels right for you.
