People come to EFT for all sorts of reasons.
Sometimes there is a very specific problem they want to explore. Sometimes several things have accumulated. And sometimes the starting point is simply, “I know I don’t feel right, but I’m not sure why.”
All of those are valid places to begin.
Anxiety. Stress. Grief. Burnout.
Labels can be useful because they help us describe what we are experiencing. But two people describing themselves as “anxious” may have completely different experiences underneath that word.
That’s why I’m interested in your version of the problem.
When does it happen? What does it feel like? What thoughts accompany it? When did you first notice it? What seems to make it better or worse?
We begin with the person rather than trying to fit the person into a box.
That’s okay too.
Perhaps you feel stuck.
Perhaps the same situations keep producing the same reactions.
Perhaps you’re harder on yourself than you would ever be on another person.
Perhaps something is objectively “fine”, yet you still don’t feel happy.
Or perhaps you have spent so long looking after everybody else that you have lost touch with what you actually need.
You don’t need a diagnosis or a neat description before getting in touch.
I don’t believe in promising that one technique can fix every problem or guaranteeing a particular result.
People and their experiences are far too individual for that.
What I can offer is a warm, non-judgemental space, professional EFT training and an approach centred around understanding what you are experiencing and working gently towards the changes that matter to you.
EFT is complementary and does not replace medical or specialist mental-health treatment when this is needed.
All sessions are available online, which means we can work together wherever you live.
If something is affecting how you feel or how you live your life, it is worth talking about.
You are welcome to get in touch, tell me a little about what is happening and ask whether EFT might be an appropriate option for you.
