EFT FOR STRESS

When everything feels like one thing too many.

Stress is part of life.

But when the demands keep coming and there is never enough time to reset, stress can begin to affect how we think, feel and respond to the people around us.

EFT can offer a simple way to pause and work with some of the emotional pressure underneath that stress.

You may not notice how much you are carrying until it feels too heavy.

You might experience:

What is creating the pressure?

Stress may come from work, family, finances, relationships, health concerns or major changes.

Often it is a combination.

But there can also be emotional patterns underneath the external pressure.

Perhaps you believe everything has to be done perfectly.

Perhaps you struggle to ask for help.

Perhaps saying no makes you feel guilty.

Perhaps you feel responsible for solving everybody else’s problems.

Creating a little space between you and the stress.

During tapping, we can focus on the specific things that feel overwhelming.

Rather than working with a vague sense of “everything is stressful”, we can break that feeling down.

What feels most urgent?

What thought keeps appearing?

What are you afraid will happen?

What expectation are you placing on yourself?

When the emotional intensity around individual pieces begins to change, the whole situation can sometimes feel more manageable.

You can tap before the pressure reaches ten out of ten.

Simple EFT can be used outside sessions.

A few minutes of tapping may become something you use before work, after a difficult conversation or when you notice tension beginning to rise.

It does not remove the practical demands of life.

But it can give you another way of responding to them.

WORKING TOGETHER

Support from wherever you happen to be.

All sessions are available online, which means we can work together wherever you live.

Let’s Talk

We begin with an initial consultation. This gives you the opportunity to tell me a little about what has brought you here, ask questions and decide whether working together feels right for you.

Your Personal Approach

There is no standard programme that everyone follows. We’ll talk about what you would like support with and agree an approach based around you.

Online EFT Sessions

We meet privately online. I’ll guide you through the tapping process while we gently explore the thoughts, feelings or experiences you would like to work with.

Something You Can Take With You

One of the things I love about EFT is that it doesn’t have to remain inside our sessions. As you become comfortable with tapping, you can use the technique yourself when you need it.
QUESTIONS ABOUT EFT

A few things you might be wondering…

Do I need to have tried EFT before?

Not at all. Most people don’t need any previous experience of tapping. I’ll explain the process and guide you through it at a pace that feels comfortable.

Do I have to talk about everything that has happened to me?

No. EFT can often be used without going into every detail of an experience. We can work gently and you remain in control of what you choose to discuss.

How many sessions will I need?

There isn’t a set number because everyone comes with different experiences and goals. We’ll discuss what you would like to work on during your initial consultation and I can suggest an appropriate way forward.

Can we work together if I live outside the UK?

Yes. Sessions are online, so I can work with clients in different countries, subject to any applicable professional or regulatory requirements.

Is EFT a replacement for medical treatment or psychotherapy?

No. EFT should not be used as a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or appropriate mental-health care. If you are receiving treatment, I encourage you to continue following the advice of your healthcare professional.

You don’t have to wait until stress becomes burnout.

If you feel as though you are constantly running on empty, get in touch.

We can talk about what is happening and whether EFT might be useful.
