I’m an accredited EFT practitioner, mum of three, former accountant, lifelong people-watcher and recovered perfectionist.
And somewhere along the way, all of those things led me here.
I originally trained as an accountant.
On paper, it made perfect sense. I was well educated, capable and had chosen a respectable career.
There was just one small problem.
I was much more interested in the people around me than the balance sheets in front of me.
I’ve always been fascinated by what makes people tick — why we react as we do, why certain experiences stay with us, why two people can live through something similar and experience it completely differently.
Over time, that curiosity became something more.
I’m a mother of three and have lived and worked in different parts of the world, including Europe and Australia.
Like everyone, life has brought periods of change, uncertainty, family pressures and the constant learning curve that comes with raising children.
I also know what it is like to struggle with confidence and self-esteem and to put enormous pressure on yourself to get things right.
I describe myself as a recovered perfectionist — although, like most recoveries, I occasionally need reminding!
EFT became something I could turn to during the challenges and transitions in my own life.
And eventually I realised I wanted to help other people discover it too.
My three children are now reaching that strange stage where childhood gives way to independence, university and lives increasingly of their own.
As mums, we know this is what we have been preparing them for.
That doesn’t necessarily make it easy.
For years, being needed can become woven into our identity. When that begins to change, there can be pride and excitement alongside sadness, uncertainty and a genuine question:
Who am I in this next part of my life?
It is something I understand personally, which is why supporting women through the empty-nest transition is particularly close to my heart.
Personal experience is an important part of who I am, but I also believe that anyone trusting me with their emotional wellbeing deserves to know that I have taken my professional training seriously.
I continue to learn because I don’t believe we ever reach a point where there is nothing more to understand about people.
I want our sessions to feel professional, but also human.
You can laugh.
You can cry.
You can tell me something sounds strange.
You can say, “I have absolutely no idea.”
You can tell me tapping isn’t changing something.
You don’t need to perform therapy correctly.
My job is to listen, guide, notice and stay curious alongside you — not judge you.
My interest in wellbeing extends beyond EFT.
I am particularly passionate about Australian Bush Flower Essences and, where appropriate, may incorporate discussion of personalised essences as a complementary element of the work we do together.
Not everyone wants that, and that’s absolutely fine.
My approach is about finding what feels useful and appropriate for you.
All sessions are available online, which means we can work together wherever you live.
If you’ve arrived here because something in your life doesn’t feel quite right, I’d be very happy to hear from you.
Our first conversation is simply a chance to talk.
No pressure. No need to have everything figured out.
Just somewhere to begin.
